Cancellation and Reschedule Policy
This Cancellation and Reschedule Policy is designed to ensure a smooth and efficient scheduling process for all patients at Alo Chiropractic (the "Clinic"). It outlines the expectations for appointment attendance, including guidelines for cancellations, lateness, and no-shows, to help maintain a professional environment and optimise care for all patients.
Appointment Scheduling
Patients are encouraged to schedule appointments in advance to secure preferred times with their chosen Practitioner. The Clinic will confirm all appointments via [phone/email/text], and it is the Patient’s responsibility to ensure they are aware of their scheduled appointment time.
Punctuality
Patients are expected to arrive on time for their scheduled appointments. Arriving late may result in a shortened session while the full session fee remains applicable, as the Clinic will respect the time of subsequent patients. If a patient arrives excessively late, the Practitioner reserves the right to reschedule the appointment, and the full session fee will still apply.
Cancellation and Reschedule
Patients must provide at least 24 hours' notice if they need to cancel or reschedule their appointment. Cancellations or reschedules made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a cancellation or reschedule fee of half the session fee, which will be communicated to the patient at the time of cancellation. Any appointments missed that are subject to a discounted rate will be lost and re-booked at full price.
Appointment No-Show
A no-show occurs when a patient fails to attend a scheduled appointment without providing prior notice. Patients who do not show up for an appointment will be charged the full cost of the session.
Emergencies and Special Circumstances
The Clinic understands that emergencies can occur. In such cases, patients are encouraged to inform the Clinic as soon as possible. Each situation will be assessed individually, and the Clinic reserves the right to waive fees at its discretion, based on the circumstances.
Reminder Notifications
The Clinic may provide reminder notifications for upcoming appointments via [phone/email/text]. While reminders are a courtesy, it remains the Patient’s responsibility to manage their schedule and attend appointments as planned.
